The AMCargo Kindergarten electric cargo bike is specifically designed for young urban families looking for a safe, practical, and affordable alternative to car travel. Built to make everyday journeys healthier and more enjoyable, it’s ideal for school runs, nursery drop-offs, and local errands.

At the front of the bike is a spacious open-top cargo box featuring two opposing benches, comfortably seating up to six children. Each seat is fitted with Y-shaped seat belts to provide secure and comfortable restraint, while a front-facing access door allows children to climb in and out easily before buckling up.

The Kindergarten uses a front-steering “Tadpole Trike” design, delivering a tight turning radius and excellent low-speed control. Steering is handled from behind the cargo box using a direct steering system, offering confidence and stability even when fully loaded.

To manage the added weight of passengers and cargo, AMCargo has equipped the Kindergarten with an electric pedal assist system that makes hills and longer journeys far more manageable. Power comes from a 250W brushless rear hub motor, paired with a 13Ah battery, delivering smooth, quiet assistance and a range of up to 40 miles on a single charge (terrain and usage dependent).

Riders can select from six power assist levels via the handlebar-mounted LCD display, allowing support to be adjusted to suit different loads and riding conditions. The system is complemented by a 6-speed Shimano Tourney SIS drivetrain and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear, providing reliable control and stopping power.

For enhanced safety and ease of use, the Kindergarten features AMCargo’s latest patented Anti-Tilt steering system, which includes a self-straightening function that automatically returns the handlebars to centre, making low-speed manoeuvring and cornering feel natural and stable.
