About Us

Our Journey

My name is Vincent Inman, and after selling our home and retiring from a 35-year career in the motor industry due to arthritis, and an old leg injury, I needed a new path. My lifelong passion for bikes—both bicycles and motorcycles—led the way.

As my knee pain worsened, cycling became difficult, until a visit to our friend Lizzy in Amsterdam changed everything. She introduced us to her mode of transport, which was an electric bike, and after one ride, I was hooked. Unlike traditional cycling, e-bikes didn’t strain my knees, and for the first time in years, I could enjoy riding without pain.

Guida (my wife) was just as impressed, and we quickly realized more people in the UK needed this experience. With my engineering background and her 30 years in customer service, we set out to make e-bikes accessible to all—promoting fun, health, and sustainable transport.

After months of research and preparation, Top Dog Bikes was born.
